Fire Flies Forest School

Fireflies Forest School is based at Hinchingbrooke Country Park in Huntingdon. We’re an Ofsted-registered childcare provider, accredited by the National Forest School Association, and hold a 5-star food hygiene rating.

Our sessions follow the Forest School ethos—child-led, outdoor learning that builds independence, resilience, and confidence through nature-based play and risk-taking.

We also offer a welcoming space for new parents to connect, share outdoor activity ideas, and gain confidence in using nature as part of their child’s development—supporting both children’s learning and parental wellbeing.

All children are welcome, and we’re happy to discuss how we can make sessions accessible to your child. We also provide personalised 1:1 or small group alternative provision, tailored to individual needs or EHCPs, supporting children who may struggle with full-time school.

Please be aware that all garments are made to order & can take between 7-10 working days to complete. If you require something by a specific date, please let us know so we can accommodate your request.
